<p>Please be advised that effective <strong>Tuesday, September 6<sup>th</sup> </strong>our school day will be changing.</p>
<p>As part of our commitment to keeping our school yard safe, we will be changing the make-up of our nutrition breaks.  Each break will now be divided into two parts, with the K-4 students inside while the grade 5-8 students are outside, and then each group will switch places.  Both nutrition breaks will be 40 minutes in length.  (See below for more details)</p>
<p>As well, our school start time will be 10 minutes later than this year.  Although the day will now be 10 minutes shorter, we will still have the same 3-100 minute instructional blocks as we do now.</p>

<p>8:45- Supervision starts on school yard.</p>
<p>8:57- First Bell</p>
<p>9:00- Start of school day</p>
<p>9:00-10:40- First Instructional Block</p>
<p>10:40-11:20 Nutrition Break</p>
<p>10:40-11:00- K-4 students eat</p>
<p>5-8 students are outside</p>
<p>11:00-11:20- 5-8 students eat</p>
<p>K-4 students are outside</p>
<p>11:20-1:00- Second Instructional Block</p>
<p>1:00-1:40 Nutrition Break</p>
<p>1:00-1:20-    K-4 students eat</p>
<p>5-8 students are outside</p>
