<p> Join us for summer school, where you will improve your <strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Numeracy</span></strong> skills in an interactive and engaging environment.  <strong>Students entering grades 7, 8, or 9 in September 2012</strong> may be interested in attending summer school in order to prepare for the up-coming school year.  The program runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, August 13-24, 2012.  Summer school sites are established in six locations throughout the county and limited bussing is available.</p>

<p><strong>What are you doing this summer?</strong></p>
<p>Continuing Education, in partnership with EduTravel, are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for students to travel to Ottawa, Montreal and New York City while earning their Civics and Careers Grade 10 credits (in <em>English</em> or <em>Extended  French</em>), or a grade 11 interdisciplinary credit (IDC3O) focused on The Arts.  </p>
<p> This program combines 7 days of travel along with prep and summative days and will run from July 16th through 27th, 2012.</p>
<p> Buses are available from your local community to the pre and post trip classes at Innisdale Secondary School.  </p>

<p>Please be advised that effective <strong>Tuesday, September 6<sup>th</sup> </strong>our school day will be changing.</p>
<p>As part of our commitment to keeping our school yard safe, we will be changing the make-up of our nutrition breaks.  Each break will now be divided into two parts, with the K-4 students inside while the grade 5-8 students are outside, and then each group will switch places.  Both nutrition breaks will be 40 minutes in length.  (See below for more details)</p>
<p>As well, our school start time will be 10 minutes later than this year.  Although the day will now be 10 minutes shorter, we will still have the same 3-100 minute instructional blocks as we do now.</p>
